Career Teachers are working with a school in Kent to recruit a dedicated and dynamic Values and Ethics Teacher for September 2025. This is a unique opportunity to lead on personal development, ethical leadership, and positive citizenship.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that embed core values such as empathy, resilience, and respect

  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive whole-school character and citizenship initiatives

  • Support students’ personal development through reflection, discussion, and enrichment activities

  • Lead PSHE sessions and contribute to cross-curricular projects aligned with the school’s ethos

  • Promote ethical decision-making and values-based learning across all year groups

What is needed:

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification

  • Has experience teaching Values and Ethics, PSHE, or character education

  • Brings a deep understanding of values-led learning and its impact on student growth

  • Passionate about developing students both academically and personally

  • Committed to ongoing professional development and contributing to whole-school improvement
