Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3/4 Teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2024 until July 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher to join our supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in Year 3/4.
* Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding students’ progress and well-being.
* Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.
* Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications Required

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting (Year 3/4 experience is desirable).
* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum, particularly Key Stage 2 (KS2).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
